Die Veranstaltung verläuft absolut friedlich. Trotz der Menschenmassen herrscht eine familiäre Atmosphäre. Schon am Abend vor der Veranstaltung reisen die ersten Biker an, um sich gute Plätze zu sichern. Am folgenden Morgen kann man im Verlauf von ca. 3 Stunden die imposante Anreise von tausenden Bikern ansehen, die sich alle auf der vollständig abgesperrten Straße für den Konvoi aufstellen. Am Vorplatz des Michels und entlang der gesperrten Straßen werden Buden aufgestellt, die die Teilnehmer (und natürlich auch die zahlreichen Zaungäste) mit Getränken (ausschließlich alkoholfrei) und Essen versorgen.Alle Teilnehmer verfolgen begeistert den Gottesdienstes von Pastor Erich Faehling (den im Michel ca. 5000 Menschen besuchen können, er wird jedoch auch nach Außen übertragen), um im Anschluß in einem gemeinsamen spektakulären Konvoi zu einem Veranstaltungsort außerhalb Hamburgs zu fahren
